Have you thought you might want to begin
playing golf? Well why not start? We all spend too much time in
front of the tv. Golf gets you out in the open, walking
around, and swinging and driving exercises your arms and
abdominals, and - far more importantly - it's fun! you can play
with friends, you can take golf vacations, it's something
couples can do together or either sex can play with their
friends for relaxation. If you have a knack, you can even get
competitive and earn money doing it.
When you begin playing golf and you have never
played before there are a few basics you need to learn quite
fast. The etiquette of how to act on a golf course and what to
wear. The overall general rules of the game, such as what par
is and how many holes on a gold course. What equipment you need
in order to play, generally a set of golf clubs and some golf
balls and tees. The rules of golf when you play with a
group, and then maybe competition rules. That's most all
you need to know before you begin playing golf.
Most of that is all covered on this site in the
articles. You can just click on the side menu to read them and
you'll be able to begin playing golf in no time.
Observing the moves in videos when you
begin playing golf
After you begin playing golf, you'll want to
start working on the golf moves so that you improve your play.
I found the best thing that helped me to learn was videos,
because you can actually see what someone does or is talking
about. That's why I started looking on the internet for
information and as I collected it for myself, I made this
website from it. You can watch the videos I collected on the
blog at Beginner
Golf Training Video
When you begin playing golf you may want to get
a Beginners Golf Guide for the rules of how to score and what
you can and cannot do. You can get one free, it's called the
Golfing Association Book of Rules and it's in the emails.
Practicing the Golf Swing when you begin
playing golf
The next thing you may need help with is the
golf swing. When you begin anything, you want to start with
some professional advice. Most instructors say it's easier to
teach someone who has never played before than it is to
eradicate the bad habits from people who have been playing for
years.
So I highy recommend you to take a look at
The Simple Swing. Not only is it a beginners
golf guide but one that also has intermediate to advanced golf
swing techniques, training and tips that will offer you
something new each time you read it. People never stop
learning, but they often baulk at the first hurdle. This
is because we sometimes assume that things are going to be
hard. Don't give up before you try.
Reading about a subject before you start to
apply it, opens you up to any free advice that comes your way
when you are on the course. It fixes the words for concepts in
your head and then your mind starts to gradually put word and
action together when you begin playing golf. So when someone
says something about your grip, you'll remember reading about
it and know they are talking about how you place your hands on
the club.
If they say you need to do something about it,
but you can't follow what they say in the time they tell you,
you know the right information is in the book and you can go
look it up and work more on improving it. Next time you begin
playing golf, concentrate on this one thing and getting it as
right as you can. Once it's in the muscle memory you can go on
to the next thing.
You can enter your name and email in the form (below) to
get the Beginner Golf Guide free. I'll also be
sending you out a few golf tips by email. I'll tell
you about a great golfing forum you can join and any new
tips I haven't put in the book yet. Sometimes I find special
offers on equipment or I might send a pre release special
on a new product that's golf related.
Occassionally I come across free books which I'll pass
on to you to download. Got a few other solutions to some common
'issues' in my golf bag as well, so, just sign up with your
email address below and I'll be in touch after you get
your Beginner Golf Guide.
If you're interested, enter your name and email in the form
and click the button to send your email to me. First off
you'll get an automatic email with a link in it, (this confirms
that you said it was ok for me to send you emails - I don't

Anyway, that's a little about me, what about you?
Are you just beginning to play golf, like my wife Shelly, or
are you aiming to break 80 in your lifetime, or even better? Do
you have an issue with every stroke you do with golf, or just
hazards, just putting, just driving - or the main issue for
beginners - getting into the golf swing. I'm sure you'll get
some advice that can help you whatever your main problem is.
Check out some of those videos on the blog won't you...
The Simple
Swing is a
fantastic Beginner Golf Guide that
you can learn so much from, I hope you can
find the time to take a look.
It comes with a guarantee to shave 7
strokes off your stroke or your money
back and you can't offer better
than that!
There is even a left handed version of it
available, so lefties like my brother don't
have to mentally stop and adapt the
instructions for them.
